The Noah Fast is the third generation of the proven Ridley aero bike family - a platform that has already helped cycling greats such as Robbie McEwen, André Greipel and Caleb Ewan to stage wins in the Tour de France. Building on this successful legacy, the new Noah Fast is another 8.5 watts faster at 50 km/h than its direct predecessor.
It stands for minimized air resistance, modern geometry for an aggressive riding position, a completely newly developed aero cockpit and a holistic design approach in which every detail is geared towards maximum efficiency.
No wonder the Noah Fast is the official competition bike of Uno-X Mobility's men's and women's teams - built for peak performance in every meter.
The new Noah Fast has been consistently developed in accordance with the current UCI regulations for tube shapes and profiles. The decisive advance lies in the application of the new 8:1 rule - tubes may now be eight times longer than they are wide, instead of the previous 3:1 ratio.
The result: extremely slim, aerodynamically optimized profiles on the fork and seat stays, which further reduce air resistance and significantly increase efficiency - at the limit of the specifications, for maximum performance.
The Ridley bikes are developed in close cooperation with the professionals of the Uno-X Mobility team. Throughout the entire development process, the athletes provide valuable feedback from racing, which flows directly into the continuous optimization of the models.
The result: wheels that have been tested under real competition conditions and approved at the highest level - a real seal of quality that stands for performance, reliability and racing DNA.
The progressive geometry of the frame takes account of the changing requirements of high-performance cycling. A steeper seat angle reflects the increasing preference of many riders for a position with an open hip angle, which enables a more efficient transfer of power to the pedals. At the same time, the bottom bracket has been lowered slightly to compensate for the use of modern, wider tires, which are often used today in both the professional and ambitious hobby sectors.
The concept is rounded off by a lower head tube in conjunction with an integrated aero cockpit, which allows for a more aggressive and aerodynamically favorable riding position. This reduces the frontal area and significantly minimizes air resistance - for maximum efficiency on any terrain.
The specially developed Nimbus Aero Cockpit follows the current trend in the peloton towards narrower handlebars: with a width of 360 mm (center-center) on the top bar and outwardly angled drops of 400 mm (center-center), it combines aerodynamic efficiency with precise control. The slightly backward sloping top ensures an ergonomically comfortable grip position, while the shape of the drops enables aerodynamic integration of the shift levers - in line with UCI specifications, of course.
As an integral part of the new frame design, the Nimbus Aero Cockpit was developed from the ground up for this model and played a central role in the entire development process. The result is a perfectly coordinated system that combines performance, comfort and design at the highest level.
