Titanium
Titanium is used wherever absolutely low weight and high strength need to be combined - for example in the aerospace industry. Titanium is resistant to most organic acids and alkalis, to diluted hydrochloric and nitric acid and to corrosion. At least at temperatures of up to 880 °C, which makes the Tubus titanium carrier the functional ultimate for tours from the Arctic Circle to Death Valley.
