The next generation of Spank mountain bike rims with integrated Vibrocore damping system. - With a low but all the wider rim profile, this rim offers radial compliance combined with high lateral and torsional stiffness.

In 2018, SPANK released the revolutionary SPANK 350 rim profile for trail, enduro and "medium-light" gravity biking. SPANK 350 and 350 VIBROCORE rim/wheel sets have a wide, flat profile, which gives them vertical flex as well as higher lateral and torsional stiffness. For 2020, SPANK expanded the Radially Compliant wheel program with 28- and 32-hole wheels, the new SPANK 359 and 359 VIBROCORE, which are specifically designed for gravity-oriented riders, and the FLARE 24 VIBROCORE wheelset specifically for gravel and XC riders. Radially Compliant wheels improve comfort and traction by better absorbing bumps and terrain changes. They also help to prevent the wheel from slipping sideways.

Vibrocore

SPANK has taken the wheel evolution to a new level. By injecting VIBROCORE foam into the inside of the rims, not only is radial stiffness increased, but tiring vibrations are reduced at the same time. In 2020, SPANK presented a new range of wheels and rims including VIBROCORE and thus offers every MTB and gravel rider the right thing.

• 30.3mm rim width is very versatile, ideal for mounting tires with 2" to 2.6" width and even for plus tires, so that the profile can function optimally
• Optimized bead bit rim flange to keep the tires securely on the rim even when mounting tubeless with low pressure
