The Puez 2 Knit Powertex stands for a smooth ride and a high level of comfort and is the ideal shoe for a wide range of uses - whether in the city, on mountain hikes or other activities in rough terrain. The shoe impresses with an abrasion-resistant, knitted nylon upper, which is additionally reinforced with a toe cap and a protective rubber rand all around. The PFC-free, waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane provides reliable weather protection, while the Alpine hemp midsole ensures sustainable, innovative production.

Natural cycle & sustainability
The midsole in the front foot area is made from Salewa's Alpine hemp material and scores points with its particularly sustainable production, in which recycled hemp waste is combined with new hemp. This allows Salewa to reduce the use of EVA, save resources and offer a sustainable alternative - without sacrificing performance and functionality. The laces of this trekking shoe are also made from a combination of Alpine Hemp material and recycled polyester.
Permanent comfort
The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning and the soft, recycled and adaptable CFF footbed, together with the volume reducer insole supplied, ensure a high level of comfort and an individual fit.
Innovative, technical solutions
The Puez 2 Knit Mid Powertex trekking boot is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which provides ideal grip and traction on technical terrain. The special feature of the sole, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special thermoplastic insole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe provides high flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while still maintaining high rigidity and stability in the forefoot and heel area. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support.
The proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces also increases stability at the ankles and in the midfoot: the patented system connects the lacing system, sole and heel and thus guarantees a secure hold while maintaining flexibility. The Climbing Lacing system also enables precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support and ideal adjustment.
This trekking shoe is part of the Salewa Committed collection and meets Salewa's strict environmental and sustainability standards to leave the smallest possible ecological footprint.
