The Shroud Hooded Jacket is a particularly warm Fleece jacket designed for mountaineering, ski touring and alpine climbing in cold conditions. In nice, cool weather, it's a great outer jacket. In lower temperatures, the Shroud works better as a quick-drying and warm mid-layer than many Softshell jackets. It is extremely versatile and a great addition to your winter kit. The reason for these outstanding properties is the Cycloknit material. This tightly knitted outer material is wind and abrasion resistant and repels snow. The high-pile inner side ensures excellent warmth and comfort and reliably wicks away perspiration - perfect for fast-paced activities in changeable terrain. With its focus on climbing and mountaineering, the Shroud has a slim alpine fit that leaves enough room for additional layers of clothing.
