System Optimized - All parts have been designed, developed and tested to work optimally as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer technology can be combined with a Contact SLR AeroLight stem and Contact SLR handlebar to provide internal cable routing that also integrates the top cap, cables and spacers into an aerodynamic, user-friendly setup.

Superior efficiency - Thanks to a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, the new shape of the aero tubes and a lower overall weight, this uncompromising road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. The result is race-winning performance in the decisive moments.

Holistic aerodynamics - All tube shapes have been developed and designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and component integration, it all adds up to a sleeker profile that gives the frameset an aero advantage of 2.28 watts over the previous generation.

• One-piece Mold - The new construction technique uses a single air chamber to create a one-piece front triangle. The result is reduced weight without sacrificing stiffness or aerodynamic shaping.
• Elliptical tubes - Strategically designed profile sections in the frame and fork, developed using CFD and wind tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce drag.
• Unique cable routing for a sleek, uncluttered appearance.
• The Advanced SL Carbon fork features a symmetrical design and aerodynamic shape, as well as the integration of disc brakes and increased tire clearance for tires up to 33 mm.
• Overdrive Aero - The D-shaped steerer tube and the associated spacers ensure an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-use system of internally routed brake and shift cables.
• The integrated seat post reduces weight, improves aero performance and ensures smoother running.
• MegaDrive - A generously dimensioned down tube and top tube ensure outstanding lateral and torsional stiffness of the front wheel. The precisely designed, rectangular shaped down tube ensures unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.
• The "oversized" bottom bracket area has a fully integrated 86 mm wide profile. Symmetrical chainstays provide additional stiffness on the drive side and stability on the non-drive side.
