Sole - Featuring a completely redesigned Nitrogen Infused Mizuno Enerzy NXT midsole, the Inspire 22 provides the perfect blend of cushioning and response. The heel-toe drop has reduced 2mm from the previous version to 10mm, to provide a more natural running feel.
MIZUNO WAVE (Support type) - Wave shape designed for people with overpronation. The anatomical plate shape follows the shape of the foot for smooth weight transfer from ground contact to kick off.
Upper - The mesh upper provides excellent breathability and a comfortable fit.
SmoothRide - An engineered approach to minimise the rapid acceleration and decelaration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible.
X10 - An extremely durable Mizuno carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and gives more traction at the heel strike.
Premium Insock - A high-grade removable insock for comfort and cushioning.

The Mizuno Enerzy NXT midsole delivers a significantly smoother midsole experience than previous versions, whilst the re-imagined wave plate works in unison to deliver a very stable ride.

Target group
Recent versions of the Inspire were a little firm for many runners, but with the Inspire 22, this all changes. Runners of all levels needing rearfoot stability or simply a reassuring ride will greatly benefit from the greater cushioning and smoother transition.

More than 90% of the upper body lining textile, sockliner lining and shoelace is made from recycled content.

Part of the midsole is made from a sugarcane-based material.
