Product Description:

The long-sleeved version of the Gabba is one of Castelli's most versatile jackets. Its GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® material combines complete windproofness with good weather protection and best-in-class breathability. With a lightweight baselayer underneath, it's great for mild temperatures - and with a thermal shirt, you can ride it even below 0°C. If you only have one jacket in your cycling wardrobe, this should be it.

Details of the Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 jacket

The Perfetto RoS is the jacket that covers almost all conditions perfectly. If you look closely, the Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket is basically a long-sleeved version of the Gabba RoS 2. So just a warmer Gabba? Not quite. Complete with sleeves, it becomes a jacket that covers an enormously wide range of conditions. As with the Gabba, the RoS label means that it excels in both dry and wet conditions thanks to the high breathability of Castelli-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® materials. There is a lightweight, fleece-lined, water-repellent version on the front and an even lighter, more elastic material on the back that maximizes breathability while providing excellent water repellency. The Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket effectively keeps out cold wind while being much more breathable than the typical polyurethane membranes of most competitors. Staying drier means fewer layers of clothing are required under the jacket. The advantage of this jacket is that it comes without its own insulation, so a thin baselayer underneath will suffice on mild days, while more insulation (such as a thermal jersey or Castelli's Cold Days 2nd layer) is appropriate in cold temperatures. The choice is yours. The "2" in the name refers to the update to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® 2-way zipper for more adjustable ventilation. The reflective trims on the back are more visible, the shoulder seam has been moved back and the back pockets offer more volume. While the Perfetto is still trimmed for maximum performance, the new model offers a little more space in the chest, shoulder and bicep area. In short: this is the one jacket that belongs in every cyclist's wardrobe.
