Y-shape for more control and legroom 
The compact, Y-shaped design of the SMS Women saddle gives you more legroom and reduces the risk of your cycling shorts getting caught on the saddle nose during steep uphill rides. Unwanted contact between your legs and the saddle is effectively prevented—so you always have full control over your mountain bike, even on steep and technical sections. Additionally, friction and pressure on or against the inner thigh—where sensitive nerves and blood vessels are located—are reduced.
   
No pressure where it shouldn’t be 
The deep relief opening, specially adapted to the female anatomy, prevents pressure peaks on the sensitive genital area. Instead, the load is directed to the sit bones, reliably preventing pain and numbness, even during hard impacts and on rough terrain. In addition to the opening, the saddle shape and curvature have also been adjusted so that the pressure is distributed particularly evenly despite the enlarged relief channel. This allows you to achieve longer and better riding.
   
Effective protection against dirt

This point is also used by professional bike fitters as a reference point when comparing the many saddle shapes available on the market. As a substitute for the difficult-to-determine center of the saddle, the BMR line serves as an important reference for the precise adjustment of saddle height, depth, and tilt.
