CBT Italia offers its models in different build configurations, varying in drivetrain, wheels, and components. With the Mystero, you can currently choose between three Shimano Di2 setups: 105 Di2, Ultegra Di2, and Dura-Ace Di2 with a power meter – each paired with Newmen carbon wheelsets featuring different rim profiles. The frame is identical across all configurations.
CBT Italia works exclusively with carbon fibers from TORAY, one of the world’s leading manufacturers supplying both aerospace and motorsport industries. Three fiber types each serve a specific purpose: T700 absorbs vibrations in comfort-focused areas, T800 forms the structural backbone with its high stiffness-to-weight ratio, and M40J reinforces high-load zones such as the bottom bracket and head tube with its exceptionally high modulus. On the Mystero, this results in a frame weight of around 985 g (size 52).
