Description of ZIPP Service Course SL 31.8 Stem - High-Polished Black

Zipp first developed the Service Course SL stem for the fit and performance needs of pros. That goal of being pro grade has proven out over the past several seasons as the stem became a mainstay in the pro peloton and cyclocross circuit being ridden to victory in Paris-Roubaix and the Vuelta a España. Now, we take that pro-proven legacy and build on it with the redesigned Service Course SL stem.
The Service Course SL Stem, crafted from 7075 aluminum, features a redesigned shape that is strong and lightweight, resulting in a best-in-class 1.85 grams per newton meter of stiffness. That results in no-flex sprints and accelerations. To meet every rider's fit needs, the stem is available in ±6° and ±17° angles. Furthermore it features titanium hardware with TORX® heads on all bolts for precision torque readings and ease of adjustment.

* sieht sehr wertig aus und kommt mit schicker, relativ leichter Ahead-Set-Kappe
* Torx-Schrauben sind bei der Montage besser als Inbus-Schrauben
* in 110 mm wiegt mein Vorbau 143 g, womit er der schwerste Vorbau an meinen Rädern ist (hatte ca. 130 g erhofft, dafür ein kleinen Punkt Abzug)

Sehr schöner und makelloser Vorbau. Klemmt Zipp Lenker schon bei 4 Nm hervorragend, ohne dabei Spuren am Lenker zu hinterlassen. Top.👍

You should mention in the description that this stem comes with its own top cap. Other than that nothing to complain about. Not cheap but worth the investment. Also looks as good as any high-end carbon stem.

Sehr sauber verarbeiteter Vorbau, Preis-Leistung sehr gut, Gabelschaftklemmung ohne Löcher daher größerflächige Klemmung, minus, Lenkerklemmplatte innen hat kleine Aussparrungen, nach meiner Meinung nicht gerade Freundlich zu Carbonlenkern, Klemmplatte solle innen Flächige Klemmung haben, würde evtl. ein Nm weniger Anziehdrehmoment ausmachen.
