Description of Fulcrum Racing 6 DB Wheelset - Clincher - Centerlock - FW: 12/15x100mm/QR | RW: 12x135/142mm/QR

Wheels that emphasizes disc road bike versatility. Ideal for those who see the bicycle as an escape from the day-to-day and a way to keep fit and exercise.
Racing 6 DB has been designed as a simple, reliable and up-to-date aluminium disc wheelset. An ideal package for those seeking a smart solution that is in line with all the latest trends but with that little added plus you only get from a brand that supplies world-class cycling pros.

asymmetric rim profile: The asymmetrical rear rim profile allows for better balancing of spoke tensions between drive and non drive side, giving better symmetry to an asymmetric component. Advantages: increased efficiency and reactivity are sure to be noted.

Rim with oriented drilling of spoke seat: For increased stability.

Stainless steel spokes: Provide high levels of tension and stiffness.

High grade, top quality steel bearings with cup and cone construction: Reduce friction and ensure consistent performance over time.

Oversized flange on the drive side: Provides greater torsional stiffness, increases reactivity at each change in rhythm of the pedal stroke.

2Way - Fit™ Ready (Road)
This procedure transforms Racing 4/5/6/7 DB and Racing 400/500/600/700 DB wheels (designed to be used with a clincher tyre and inner tube) into Tubeless Ready wheels (no inner tube and compulsory use of a sealant liquid).

AFS System™
The Axial Fixing System™ is the solution developed by Fulcrum® to fix the disc brake to the hub. The constraint granted by the butt area of the release mechanism, greater than in familiar standard ones, makes it possible to obtain greater structural rigidity and therefore more precise and powerful braking.

Disc Specific Rim
Fulcrum® is one of wheel manufacturers on the market to offer two completely different rim profiles from disc to conventional brake. So, no adaptation, but a rim conceived based on years of design experience. Not requiring a braking track, Fulcrum®’s R&D department designed a completely new profile, aimed at saving every single gram of weight and at improving aerodynamic efficiency. Its greater width makes it a perfect fit for tyres of 25/28mm upwards.

Note: Shimano 9/10-speed only with 1 mm spacer which is included with the cassette.
Included in delivery: without quick releases, FW/RW axle adapter

Customer Reviews
Came with my Orbea Terra and even though the limited width (17C) makes the supplied 40mm tyres squirm I'm pretty happy with these after 1,5 seasons. Gravel or road, they hold true, don't feel especially heavy when a pair of Conti GP 5000 (25/28) was fitted tubeless (extremly hard work with the GPs) and removing most of the decals for a more stealth look have made me decide to not to upgrade this year. Well, got a pair of Hunt 650b Adventure Wides (25C) for the winter and gravel rides so that is perhaps not fully true :)
I wouldn't buy these new (17C and not TLR) they are adequit (spelling..) for any midlevel bike the come with. Some brands supply their $3k bikes with 2kg+ wheels (and entry level components as well..)..
Didn't have all the right adapters, but Bike24 refunded me and I bought the adapters from local bike dealer. So, no big deal.

The wheelset is substantially lighter than the original set in my cyclocross. Feels completely different to cycle. Also the looks of the wheelset is awesome. Haven't tried to go tubeless yet, but it's possible with this wheelset.
