Description of Shimano 105 R7000 Groupset 2x11-speed - Mechanical Rim Brakes - black

R7000 - The most capable Shimano 105 group ever!

Employing the latest technologies from Dura Ace R9100 and Ultegra road components, the Shimano 105 R7000 series delivers added versatility and improved ride performance for a wide spectrum or road cyclists. Featuring refined ergonomics, the shift levers match the slim look and feel of their Ultegra counterpart while the addition of the medium rear derailleur expand gear ranges to offer the most capable Shimano 105 group ever.

The Shimano 105 R7000 groupset consists of:

  • 105 ST-R7000 STI (left + right)
  • 105 BR-R7000 brake caliper (front + rear)
  • 105 FC-R7000 crankset
  • 105 FD-R7000 front derailleur
  • 105 RD-R7000 rear derailleur
  • 105 CS-R7000 cassette
  • CN-HG601-11 chain

Hubs and bottom bracket cups are not included. These can be ordered separately.

If you prefer a configuration with the CS-HG700 cassette with 11-34 teeth, please contact our service team.

Shimano 105 ST-R7000 STI for rim brakes

The Shimano 105 ST-R7000 features a redesigned internal shift unit for a slimmer, more ergonomically shaped control lever that matches the design of Ultegra R8000. Increased reach adjustment of up to 15 mm provides more control and reliable brake performance in all conditions.

Shimano 105 BR-R7000 brake caliper

The Shimano 105 BR-R7000 brake caliper features improved performance thanks to its symmetrical dual-pivot construction. Maximum tire size is 28C, rims with a width between 20.8 and 28 mm are compatible.

Shimano 105 FC-R7000 crankset

The Shimano 105 FC-R7000 Hollowtech II crankset delivers optimum power transfer, balancing weight and efficiency without sacrificing stiffness. An optimized lightweight crank arm design improves performance whereas the redesigned chainring tooth profile increases clearance between chain and leading teeth to provide compatibility with frames featuring 135 mm O.L.D. and 410 mm chainstay length.

Shimano 105 FD-R7000 front derailleur

The Shimano FD-R7000 front derailleur utilizes the innovative link construction first introduced with Dura Ace R9100 for easy setup and fine-tuning adjustments without the need for specialty tools. Its new construction matches the force curve of the hand more naturally to reduce effort at the end of shifting and allows for more flexible cable routing design. The derailleur components are redesigned for disc-specific frames, accommodating a wider gear pitch without sacrificing shifting performance.

Shimano 105 RD-R7000 rear derailleur

The Shimano RD-R7000 rear derailleur utilizes Shimano’s Shadow RD low profile design and is available with both short and medium cage for wider gear range combinations. Shadow RD increases shift stability and reduces crash vulnerability while providing a sleek integrated appearance. The derailleur components are redesigned for disc-specific frames, accommodating a wider gear pitch without sacrificing shifting performance.

Shimano 105 CS-R7000 cassette

The Shimano CS-R7000 cassette features an increased range of high-performance gearing combinations which provide small gear steps to optimize rhythm and cadence control.

Note: The cassette with the sprocket ratio 11-32 is only compatible to Shimano rear derailleurs with medium or long cage.

Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain - with Quick Link

The Shimano CN-HG601 chain for 11-speed is treated with the proprietary SIL-TEC coating to run smoother and wear longer in all conditions. Incl. SM-CN900 Quick Link.

SIL-TEC is an advanced surface plating technology to increase both performance and durability. It adds a low friction surface treatment that runs smoother and lasts longer.
