Details of the Cormick MIPS Unisize helmet

It is made using in-mold construction to reduce weight while increasing durability so that it can withstand daily use. Thanks to the Cord Loc™ fit system, the helmet is quick and easy to adjust. The integrated multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS) also increases safety. In summary, you get the versatility to get the most out of it - from the forest to single tracks to city streets.

The MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows the movement of the head (10-15mm) and absorbs any rotational energy that may occur in the event of a fall to protect the brain.

The Cord Loc™ Fit System is an ingeniously simple and durable adjustment system. Continuous adjustment is achieved by pulling the elastic adjustment strap, the plastic locking mechanism clamps the strap (similar to a hood on an outdoor jacket) and the helmet fits comfortably and securely.

With the in-mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single step during the foaming process. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to create significantly better ventilation systems and ventilation openings. Compared to traditional helmets, in-mold helmets are therefore lighter and have significantly better ventilation systems.
