• Soft Instep 4 System: The anatomical and comfortable buckle made of soft and thermal molded material, placed on the top of the foot, increases comfort and performance. It distributes the pressure evenly over the instep, is adjustable from both sides and thus allows correct centering without the need for an instep extender. The Soft Instep 4 system is interchangeable.
• The Tecno-3 push-button system extends over the entire length of the shoe and thus enables an optimal fit, as the upper material is evenly molded to the foot. Sidi's reliable closure system allows for quick and easy adjustment thanks to the cable material. The system can be lifted with a small button on the rotary closure, making it easier to adjust while riding.
• Techpro upper: Made in Italy, the micro fibre synthetic leather is an innovative high-tech upper with OEKO-TEX® certification. It offers durability, breathability and water resistance at the highest level with low weight.
• The reinforced heel cap keeps the foot in its optimal position and prevents the shoe from being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
• Replaceable heel piece: All ROAD shoes from SIDI have a replaceable plastic heel piece in the heel area.
• Comfort Fit insole: Lightly padded insole made of ergonomically shaped foam with memory effect.

Sidi Vent Carbon Sole

The main advantages of the Vent Carbon sole are not only strong power transmission or its lightness and stiffness, but also excellent comfort at higher temperatures. As the name of the sole suggests, the Vent Carbon sole can be ventilated depending on the weather conditions. In triathlon, the ventilation also serves as a drainage system.

The Vent Carbon sole is specified with integrated channels that ensure heat dissipation and ventilation. The ventilation opening leads to two channels in the carbon sole, which guide the air to perforations in the forefoot area (the Sidi Comfort-Fit insole has matching perforations so that the air flow is not obstructed). The slider at the front of the sole can be moved forwards and backwards. If the slider is in the front area, the ventilation is open, in the rear area it is closed. This allows the ventilation of the feet to be regulated according to individual needs.

The Vent Carbon sole is handmade exclusively from carbon fibres with the aim of maximizing stiffness while ensuring a low, controlled degree of flex in the toe area. This carefully designed flex biomechanically relieves pressure on the foot tendons and helps to promote blood circulation.

The Vent Carbon sole features a standard 3-hole drilling, and an alignment scale that allows for 10mm fore and aft adjustment. To improve walkability, the Vent Carbon sole has replaceable polyurethane heel and toe heels.
