The EA70 AX rear wheel has the durability to withstand trail riding but is translated to drop bar applications with center lock hubs and 12x142 rear hub compatibility (10x135mm QR adapter also included). From bikepacking adventures loaded with gear, to washboarded gravel descents with only your wheels and tires providing the compliance, this wheel has you covered. The welded tubeless ready rim boasts a generous 24mm internal rim width that increased tire volume and gives an optimal tire profile even for wider gravel and CX tires.

Centered around the battle tested X5 mountain hub from the popular Heist wheelset Easton created the X5 CL hub, because centerlock has seen strong adoption on the road.

The wheel uses double butted spokes because they dont wear out too quickly and also save weight.
