MT4 e-STOP - E-Bike Optimized

Magura eSTOP - 3 Parts - One Perfect System
The eSTOP system consists of 3 components: the eSTOP brake models, optimized brake discs and the new SPORT brake pad. All components are perfectly matched to each other and thus offer maximum performance for the higher demands of e-bikes. MDR-C and MDR-P brake discs
Optimized for use on e-bikes, MAGURA presents two new brake discs with increased performance and stability and reduced vibration at the same time.
The new MDR-C brake disc is the low-cost all-rounder in the MAGURA E-Bike Optimized portfolio - whether on the city, trail or e-bike. An additional stiffening element above the 6-hole mounting reduces vibration during braking and thus noise. In addition, it has better heat resistance and stability.
With the MDR-P, MAGURA presents a brake disc for performance-oriented riders and tough applications - from downhill to e-bikes and heavy load bikes. The two-piece disc saves weight compared to the MDR-C and is also available in a diameter of 220 mm for the first time. A special feature of the two-piece disc is the patented gearing of the outer and inner ring (Dovetail Interlink technology). The gearing provides additional support on the inner ring when the outer ring expands thermally. In contrast to floating discs, the torque is transmitted over the entire surface instead of only via the rivets. The result is increased rigidity of the brake disc and particularly direct heat dissipation under continuous load. Thanks to the new technology, the MDR-P is the strongest brake disc in the MAGURA portfolio and yet offers low weight and reduced vibration, perfect for MTB gravity use.
For the first time the MDR-P is also available in 220 mm diameter. With the same manual force, the 220mm brake disc generates around 10% more braking force than a 203mm model and even 20% more than a 180 mm model. In addition, the higher mass reduces the risk of brake fading and reduces pad wear by 15%. The brake disc reaches the critical temperatures for the lining much later. With the new MDR brake discs, MAGURA offers a total of five different brake discs. The MAGURA #customizeyourbrake Buyers Guide helps with the selection and comparison of the respective properties. SPORT brake pads The new organic SPORT rubbers are suitable for everyday and sporty rides and especially for use on e-bikes. They are positioned between the MAGURA COMFORT and PERFORMANCE pads in terms of braking performance and durability. The new pad compound is optimally adapted to the requirements of e-bikes and eSTOP brake models. Thanks to a shorter braking time, the new SPORT pads are also ready for use particularly quickly.
A mixture of high-tech polymers and carbon or glass fibers is transformed into a plastic granulate in several complex processes. During the processing from this granulate to the finished component, the carbon fibers are optimally aligned to the load requirements. With this Carboflow process any desired shape can be produced from the granulate by injection moulding. Carbotecture® offers significant advantages over the classic lightweight material aluminum: Carbotecture® is 50 % lighter than aluminum with identical tensile and fracture strength, so it weighs only half as much.
Weight Ratio Performance:
Magura brakes are characterized by their high degree of thermal resistance, achieved through optimal weight allocation. This is optimal material usage and best-in-class lightweight construction where it's really needed.
Magnetic pistons fit perfectly into the brake caliper, guaranteeing quick and easy brake pad replacement.

The brake can be use for front and rear.
Note: The brake is delivered without adapter and without disc rotor. These parts are sold separately.
The brake hose can easily be shortened to the required length!
