The Pinner is Kenda’s all new dry condition gravity tire. Exclusively developed with Aaron Gwin, the Pinner was done for World Cup tracks like Leogang and Lenzerheide and designed to hold its own against the toughest competitors. The Pinner shines with excellent cornering predictability and particularly high puncture protection. The Pinner is an excellent choice for gravity racers and trail riders alike.
This tire features a similar compound design found in other Kenda gravity tires. The Pinner AGC uses a dual layer set up, with a firmer rubber serving as the base and supporting the knobs, and a soft compound laid on top to maximize grip. A high surface area contact ensures maximum traction and stability while the large edges are taking care of maximum braking traction. Ramped center knobs minimize the rolling resistance and a low void pattern maximizes stability and traction. Furthermore sipes bring additional bite when cornering or braking and laterally non-staggered shoulder/center knobs stand for predictability.
The Advanced Gravity Casing (AGC) is Kenda's latest innovation for gravity orientated riders. A strip of Kenda Vector Shield, a lightweight material of woven aramid, is built in under the tread area and along the sidewalls to protect from punctures and cuts. It offers nearly three times more cut resistance than standard protective materials. A 20mm apex along the bead prevents pinch flats and burping.

Saves weight and improves the rolling performance. It also provides an improved flat protection and better air retention.
