With the Spherical Design this sliding surface is seamless integrated between the two layers of EPS foam and offers you the advantages of the MIPS® system and progressive inner shell without compromising comfort or ventilation. The Roc Loc® Trail Air fit system has also received a generous upgrade, which ensures a firm fit in rough terrain. It's even UV resistant, while improving ventilation and allowing you to adjust the fit of your helmet quickly and easily. Technologies of the Giro Manifest Bike Helmet

The MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows the movement of the head (10-15mm) and absorbs any rotational energy that may occur during falls in order to protect the brain.

Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull, Roc Loc® Air allows cool airflow to pass directly over your head, further enhancing the performance of vents and internal channeling that exhaust heat out of the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc® 5, allowing you to easily custom tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds using a single hand.

The In-mold construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
