Thanks to Side Swing technology, the Shimano Alivio FD-M3100 front derailleur delivers quiet and smooth shifting. Its improved design offers enhanced cable routing for more powerful upshifting, light action operations and increased clearance for short chain stays and larger wheels (max. 2.3" tire width). The Front Pull derailleur provides extra wide range for 3x9-speed drivetrain systems and is compatible to a chain line of 50 mm. In addition, a wider traction range reduces chain rub at rear suspension bikes.
