Design approach
With the new, improved MT500 Waterproof Short II, which is also part of the award-winning MT500 collection, Endura has gone one better when it comes to "all mountain". The MT500 is also the collection worn by the Atherton siblings. With the new ExoShell40DR™ fabric and the visual improvement, these shorts fit in perfectly with the rest of the MT500 collection. This makes them your must-have in bad weather. Not only is it PFC-free, it has also been produced in an environmentally friendly way and is labeled MADEKIND.
ExoShell40DR™
The material of the new waterproof MT500 collection is just as breathable and waterproof as the standard Exoshell40 fabric, but even more durable, so that nothing stands in the way of even the most extreme mountain bike adventures. The robust, hard-wearing outer layer is paired with a soft, wicking inner layer made of mesh material that absorbs moisture and wicks it away through an extremely fine membrane in the middle. As with all Endura waterproof materials, ExoShell40DR™ is treated with an environmentally friendly PFC-free, water-repellent finish. In addition, harmful substances have been removed from the supply chain in the manufacture of the material. This ensures the safety of the products for consumers, workers and the environment. The only thing you leave behind are your tire tracks.
