The Dainese Trail Skins Air knee protectors are designed around the Pro-Shape 2.0 protector, inspired by the geometry of naturally occurring auxetic materials that expand simultaneously in all directions after an impact or stress, increasing the area of coverage.

The structure of the Pro-Shape 2.0 protector allows maximum flexibility and adaptability regardless of the position of the knee, tracing its movements in all phases of activity. It absorbs 83% of the force of an impact instead of transferring it to the knee. 55% of its surface is fully open, ensuring ventilation and better heat exchange in both uphill and downhill phases. An ideal feature for riders who plan long tours, even on the hottest days.

The knee protector remains stable even during intense activity, thanks to a very long, transparent waistband on the thigh and a practical elastic band at calf level. The additional protector on the outer edges of the knee guard is designed to still provide protection when rolling or sliding across the ground.
