Slash Guard 2 (SG2)

The Slash Guard 2 puncture protection features a lightweight, ultra-thin nylon insert that runs from tire bead to tire bead and has a flat profile, reducing the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between fibers compared to traditional round fibers.

All WTB Gravel tires with SG2 puncture protection also feature 120 TPI casing to minimize the weight and overall thickness of the tire while increasing its flexibility. While SG2 was developed specifically as a puncture protection material, it also provides reliable air trapping, especially at High Pressure Gravel and Adventure Road tires.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
