Praxis Works 2x chainrings with LevaTime are incomparable. This technology has been developed over years of intensive testing and continuous optimization and now represents a class of its own when it comes to shifting precision and above all shifting speed. The complex arrangement of climbing aids, cut-outs, ramps and tooth shapes from the small to the bigger chainring is precisely calculated and by no means a coincidence. In this way, the chain changes its position in an absolutely controlled and efficient manner. LevaTime takes shifting to a new level - try it out and you'll see how different Praxis Works chainrings are.
The enlarged diameter of the bolt circle minimizes torsion within the chainring and further improves the shifting precision and effectiveness of the drive.
All of praxis works chainrings are created with their proprietary forging process which allows them to manipulate the ring shape and tooth profile more than ever before. With "One-Shot" forging the company is able to increase the amount of shifting features on a chainring which normal CNC manufacturing won't allow.
The process also creates a harder and tougher tooth surface for durability with over 1000 tons. Individual tooth profiles, alternating tooth angles, timed ramps and tactically placed shift elevators are all jam packed onto a Praxis ring. Translation: All of these small aggregate features add up to the most durable and consistent shifting rings ever produced for cyclists.
LevaTime™ shifting is the product of years of relentless testing and tweaking. The final result is a set of some of the finest and fastest-shifting rings available. With a LevaTime™ ring, several shift elevators are placed strategically at points on the ring to provide a perfectly timed lift.
Synchronized ramps are tuned with a specific inner ring, providing a clean channel for the chain to move upwards. Each individual tooth is sculpted to handle a specific duty. Along with that, precisely located scallops help control chain movement and prevent chain suck.
After riding these rings, you'll realize these aren't your average, ordinary chainrings. All of the Praxis ring combinations are "Matched Sets" precisely designed in concert for an optimized shifting experience.
