The Chamber II is equipped with the best of the Chamber™, which has been at the top of the podium at the Enduro World Series and Downhill World Cup - secure fit, water-repellent reinforced microfiber upper and an incredibly durable construction with full Vibram® Megagrip™ rubber outsole.
The cleats can be moved 10 millimeters further back compared to other Giro shoe models. This allows the pedal position to be set further back, under the arch of the foot, which reduces fatigue and improves positioning in difficult terrain. The upper has been equipped with a Tri-Mold construction that increases stiffness and flex for each foot zone. The result is a new level of performance that has been improved from front to back, with just the right amount of flex to push uphill, incredible pedaling efficiency and a better connection to the pedals.
Vibram® is the world leader in high-quality rubber soles. Giro uses two different sole materials developed by Vibram®: IdroGrip, which provides maximum grip on any surface, wet or dry, and MegaGrip, which is more robust and only slightly less slippery. Vibram® soles guarantee maximum grip, comfort and durability.
