The SCOTT eRIDE engineering team has developed a special bracket that mounts in place of the bottle cage. A standard 500Wh Bosch battery can be attached to the Range Extender bracket (sold separately). This results in a total power output of 1125Wh. Only one charger is required for charging. The Bosch display takes both batteries into account.
You are free to install a rear rack and mudguards. The frame has dedicated mounting points for a neat and reliable solution. To mount a front or rear light, a cable has already been routed in the frame, no additional battery is needed - the power comes directly from the battery of the drive unit.
