Description of Cannondale Fatty DLR 80 26" Fork

Minimum friction for maximum comfort with extreme rigidity!
Cannondale FATTY is a very stable front suspension, which is a super light and super stiff suspension unit with a clean look. It offers 80 mm air suspension, a lockout and adjustable rebound damping. It has single-butted aluminum blades that are precision welded to the forged fork crown. In contrast to their predecessors in the current Fatty DLR, the air volume is increased so they can be used with less air pressure, which makes an even smoother response of the fork.
The built-in, typical linear bearings are special "ball"bearings with exceptional, because axial (rather than radial), needle rotation. In contrast to the plain bearings of the competition here a very low-friction guidance of the linear spring movement is achieved. That means that the fork during superhard brakes, shocks and heavy steering effort do not have to overcomme static friction. The wheel can hit the ground always free and guarantees maximum control.
Their excellent steering precision and tracking stability make the Fatty DLR to a super hot tip for all Cannondale racers.
