Details

The Neutrino 400 for women is filled with 400 g of 800 cuin goose down. By stabilizing the down with an ingenious herringbone chamber construction, less material is needed compared to the traditional horizontal arrangement of the chambers. The trapezoidal boxwall chamber construction means that the down can puff out completely. This means that cold bridges have virtually no chance and warmth is maximized. In addition, the wind protection chambers along the zipper and the thermal collar prevent heat loss; and with the adjustable drawstring on the hood, you can tighten the sleeping bag around your face. The women's sleeping bag is slightly shorter than the standard sleeping bag, but filled with the same amount of down, narrower at the shoulders and slightly wider at the hips - for comfort and warmth.

With an inner lining made from recycled nylon and an outer fabric now made from recycled Pertex® Quantum, the sleeping bag is windproof and more environmentally friendly than ever before. The down has also been impregnated with Nikwax, a hydrophobic treatment free from fluorocarbons (PFCs), which makes it better at repelling condensation. It has a ¾-length zipper with anti-pinch protection and a zippered storage pocket inside. The sleeping bag comes with a waterproof compression sack with roll-top opening for easy storage.

Rab's down sleeping bags are hand-filled in the UK; the down is never compressed before use, so the loft and warmth of the down is retained.

Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to create a lightweight and soft fabric that allows the insulation to perform at its best. It features a down-proof construction and DWR treatment and is soft to the touch. It is also pleasantly light, packs down small and offers reliable protection from wind and weather.
