The Lightning is a refined lightweight backpack for multi-day 'Fast & Light' adventures.

The weight-saving roll closure of the top loader allows an expansion of the main compartment, where additional equipment can be accommodated if required. The back system with best load transfer has been tested and optimized over years in terms of carrying comfort, ventilation, high freedom of movement in the hip and torso area and fast height adjustment.

Side pocket made of elastic fabric hold water bottle, trekking or tent poles. Zippered elastic pockets on the hip belt and weatherproof zippered pocket in the top of the pack store small items for quick access. Side zig-zag compression straps and a strap that runs across the backpack with quick-release hooks keep things in place. You can customize the full-featured carrying system with minimal contact points. Valuables are safely stored in the inner mesh pocket. The drinking tube can be fixed on the left or right. If you use the Lightning for mountaineering, you can attach ice gear and other equipment to the designated loops and the central daisy chain.
