The redesigned Mira HL offers the perfect combination of space, comfort and weight. The ultralight tent is ideal for short trips in moderate climates.
Thanks to the practical clips and the connected pole set, the Mira can be pitched even faster and more intuitively. The inner tent consists partly of an airy, fine-mesh mosquito net. In the lower third, denser ripstop nylon provides protection against wind or views from the outside. With a height of over one meter, the Mira HL offers plenty of headroom.
Since this tent is designed for minimal weight, Exped recommends a footprint to protect the lightweight floor. The inner tent is also freestanding and can be pitched without the outer tent when the weather is nice. This way, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the starry sky. If you want it even lighter, you can use the outer tent in combination with the footprint. This method also makes sense when it rains, as it allows the inner tent to be hung on the pole frame and stay dry.
DAC Featherlite:
Combining techniques developed for Featherlite with DAC's proprietary TH72M alloy allowed the development of the world's first tent pole system to combine different diameters in the same row of poles. This gives designers greater control over the shape of the tent. Normal tent poles, when bent, form a shape with low wall angles and most of the headroom in the center of the tent. With the DAC pole system, the tent can be made much rounder with steeper sidewalls.
