Thanks to the double closure system, the instep and forefoot can be adjusted separately to ensure an individual and secure fit. At the instep, the Powerstrap system provides outstanding foot support at higher cadences, such as those encountered when riding off-road, while at the same time offering a reliable system that is resistant to falls and gets you safely to your destination. The forefoot area features a high-quality bi-directional Li2 BOA® Fit System, which enables a micro-adjustable, extremely precise fit with even pressure distribution. The perfect fit is rounded off by a newly designed X1 outsole. With a very good stiffness-to-weight ratio, the carbon plate efficiently transfers the power generated by the shoe to the pedals. The outsole is now equipped with large studs and a rubber coating that extends over the entire tread, including the midfoot, thus ensuring optimum grip even off the bike. The low weight of the Ferox is also thanks to the innovative upper construction, which combines a polyurethane-coated material with a transparent and comfortable mesh. This not only saves weight, but is also breathable and tear-resistant at the same time.
