In 2010, Castelli introduced the Gabba for the pros, changing the dress code for racing in the rain and cold. And the way they dress for training in cool weather. The Gabba is also the perfect choice for non-professionals in such conditions because it keeps their core warm and dry without ever overheating. The latest Gabba is already the fifth generation, and this latest version is virtually waterproof, with the same high breathability and wind protection that have always characterized the Gabba.

It is based on two Castelli-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® versions: a warmer, 100% waterproof material on the front, shoulders and sleeves and a lighter, more breathable and elastic material on the back, which offers sufficient protection against splashing water and rain. The "2" in the name refers to the update to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® 2-way zipper for more adjustable ventilation.

The reflective trims on the back are more visible, the shoulder seam has been moved back and the back pockets offer more volume. We usually wear the Gabba over a sleeveless baselayer and a short-sleeved jersey and combine it with Nano Flex arm warmers in cooler and/or wet conditions or with our Seamless arm warmers in mild conditions. Bottom line: the Gabba RoS 2 is a must-have for fall and spring rides.

Two separate Castellie-exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics are used: a warmer and 100% waterproof fabric on the front, shoulders and sleeves, and a lighter, more breathable and stretchy fabric on the back that provides ample protection from water hitting the back.
