The X-Alps Pedroc Pro Polartec® Alpha® is the ideal jacket for extremely movement-intensive activities in the mountains, which are characterized by many stop-and-go phases with extreme temperature fluctuations and changing weather conditions.
On the one hand, the jacket offers warmth, but at the same time high breathability - and that at a very low weight. This high functionality is achieved by the perfect interaction of the lightweight, breathable and water-repellent Nylon-Tencel™ main fabric with Polartex® Alpha® Direct insulation inserts in the front and upper arms. Inside, the braided insulation fibers regulate temperature differences while being quick-drying. The more strenuous the activity, the more the Polartex® Alpha® insulation adapts to ensure an ideal body climate.
On the back of the jacket, as well as under the arms, a lightweight Durastrech softshell fabric with a perforated structure is used, which supports breathability as well as climate comfort. The additional stretch mesh inserts provide the necessary freedom of movement and flexibility.
With the athletic fit and features such as the soft fleece inner collar, reflective details for greater visibility and the two concealed zipper pockets, the jacket is ideal for those who are fast on the mountain, but do not want to sacrifice protection and functionality. The X-Alps Alpha has been treated with a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR finish and is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, whose products stand out for their particularly ecological and socially responsible manufacturing.
