VECTIV™ technology is designed to maximize power transfer to the trail. To do this, it combines an ultra-lightweight but stabilizing footplate, a midsole with rocker bend-up and a grippy SurfaceCTRL™ outsole. The Exploris is the translation for a long-distance hiking boot. But while this version features the same great details as the original, a few changes have been made. The platform under the foot is wider and provides more stability. The cantilever is 2mm higher for more comfort and support. And the rockered midsole offers a bifurcated heel and forefoot and TPU plate for more lateral stability. The FUTURELIGHT™ membrane is still as breathable as ever, and the nubuck leather is durable but soft. Even better, the leather is sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries, helping to create a sustainable future with responsible leather.
