e-Martello – The E-MTB Tire for Dry & Mixed Terrain
Engineered for exploration and utility. Vittoria has adapted the e-Martello specifically to the higher weight and increased speeds of electrically assisted mountain bikes. No matter how technical the Trail or how unstable the weather, this E-Bike tire has already proven itself at the highest level in Enduro and Downhill use. However, as if it were one with the track, it shows its best performance on dry terrain.
The tread design is characterized by progressive lugs inspired by motorcycling, which vary in width and thus not only ensure controlled and predictable handling, but also a quick response and firm grip. At the same time, the generous spacing between the sipes improves the self-cleaning capabilities of the tread so that mud and debris have no chance of sticking.
For maximum durability, the Tubeless Ready folding tire combines the flexible, abrasion-resistant and puncture-proof Enduro nylon carcass with the graphene-reinforced 4C rubber compound. While the 120 tpi carcass increases puncture resistance thanks to its two-ply construction and protects the sidewalls from rim impacts, crushing and cuts, the compound reduces rolling resistance thanks to its complex composition, which in turn has a positive effect on battery life.
4C Compound | In order to minimize rolling resistance and better withstand punctures, the rubber compound is infused with graphene. With the help of its special properties, the material not only effectively fills the gaps between the rubber molecules, but also creates a reinforced structure that is lighter, more efficient and also more durable. For the ultimate grip, the 4C version uses an additional graphene compound in the edge area of the tread in addition to the basic composition on the surface and the two separate compositions in the shoulder area.
Graphene 2.0 | The G2.0 rubber compound surpasses Vittoria's original Graphene technology in every respect. The many years of experience enable a noticeable increase in performance in the areas of speed, grip in wet conditions, durability and puncture resistance.
Enduro Casing | The classic for Enduro use. The puncture-proof 120 tpi carcass combines a double-layer nylon construction (2-Ply) with APF sidewall inserts (Anti-Pinch Flat).
Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
