In modern Cross Country use, the chassis must make the impossible possible: pure efficiency when climbing and a "Bottomless" suspension travel when descending. Impossible? Not for the SIDLuxe from RockShox!

To accomplish this feat, the SIDLuxe comes with two different damping systems, one with 2 positions (2P) and the other with 3 positions (3P) of compression adjustment. Both feature the hard-hitting "Lock" setting as well as the shock-absorbing "Open" function. The 3P configuration also offers the efficient "Pedal"position. Furthermore, the High Speed compression stage has been improved to provide instant Blow-Off when it comes to the most difficult part of the descent.

Blistering sprints, chunky descents and high-speed singletrack. For this, the Ultimate version of the super-light SIDLuxe shock is made. Its XC damping not only always provides the necessary efficiency and the right suspension travel, but also represents an optimal complement to the SID and SID SL suspension forks from RockShox, as it is perfectly matched to their handling.

The magic number. No compromise on efficiency in favor of traction and comfort. With the 3-Position damping system (3P), the suspension can be optimally adapted to any slope. While the "Lock"position plays to its strengths in fast starts and sprints, the "Open"setting is designed for the demanding descents of today's XC tracks. The "Pedal"function is dedicated to the terrain in between, combining traction and efficiency to tackle technical climbs or hilly trails.

Tuned to the key of speed. To keep up with even the pace of an XC World Cup race, the response to unexpected turbulence matters. To allow the High Speed compression damping to open more quickly when sudden shocks occur, RockShox has increased the oil flow in the "Open" and "Pedal" settings. Since a greater oil flow requires a corresponding puncture protection, a higher, tapered bottom-out bumper is used, which provides more fault tolerance at full travel.
