The Bloom MIPS is a helmet for urban areas. Robust, safe, made in Germany. The hard shell of the Bloom MIPS protects against falls and is made for everyday use. The lightweight Hi-EPS provides shock absorption. MIPS is designed to help reduce rotational forces acting on the head in the event of an angled impact. An optional LED insert light (not included in delivery) and reflective logos provide additional visibility and make other road users aware of you at an early stage. Nine strategically positioned ventilation openings ensure that there is always enough fresh air flowing to your head. The Bloom MIPS is also designed to save as much CO2 as possible. The short transportation routes contribute to this. At the end of its service life, the helmet can simply be dismantled into its individual parts and recycled cleanly. Technologies

ERGOMATIC

Tried and tested hundreds of thousands of times and used on all Alpina helmets: the strap buckle with the red push button and multi-stage automatic latching mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - the strap can be loosened uphill and tightened downhill - and in the event of a fall, it is not possible for the buckle mechanism to open by itself.

HARDSHELL

Hardshell helmets consist of a Hi-EPS core and an impact-resistant outer shell made of ABS or polycarbonate. This combination ensures maximum safety.

HI-EPS

The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrol). The material has microscopically small air chambers which absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS ensures optimum protection and at the same time enables extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.

MIPS

MIPS is a system that protects against brain injuries that can be caused by rotational movements in the event of an impact. The low-friction insert enables a sliding movement of 10-15 mm in all directions and thus reduces the rotational movement in the event of a fall. MIPS therefore offers additional protection

RUN SYSTEM ERGO FLEX MIPS

The first fitting system with integrated MIPS. The RUN SYSTEM ERGO FLEX MIPS offers individual, height-adjustable adjustment of the helmet. This combination not only increases comfort, but also ensures additional safety in the event of impacts with rotational forces.

Y-CLIP

A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixation of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role in this. The Y-clip system guarantees millimeter-precise adjustment - in a matter of seconds.
