Barzo – The XC Tire for Mixed Terrain

Whether in dry, wet or changing conditions, the versatile and reliable Barzo from Vittoria supports mountain bikers in exploring their local Trail system, regardless of the type of terrain. Thanks to the high-performance tread design, the Cross Country tire is just as ready for rocks and roots as it is for soft, loamy soil or hard ground.

While the alternating center lugs ensure fast rolling, the Moto-style shoulder lugs offer plenty of bite, especially when cornering. The continuous sipe structure in turn increases the grip under lateral load so that a constant speed can be maintained in any terrain. For the necessary durability and puncture resistance, the Tubeless Ready folding tire also combines a robust yet flexible 60 tpi nylon carcass with a graphene-reinforced rubber compound.

In honour of the long-standing partnership with the "Union Cycliste Internationale", Vittoria has launched the Barzo in a UCI edition, which features the association's logo and a stylish "rainbow swoosh" on the sidewall.

1C Compound | To minimize rolling resistance and better withstand punctures, the rubber compound is infused with graphene. With the help of its special properties, the material not only effectively fills the gaps between the rubber molecules, but also creates a reinforced structure that is lighter, more efficient and also more durable.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
