The Cadence Plus is a competition-oriented cycling helmet developed for top performance and maximum comfort. Every detail of this helmet has been analyzed through extensive wind tunnel testing. With its aerodynamic and elegant design, the Cadence Plus offers optimal air circulation and cooling to increase the rider's comfort so they can stay focused during intense performances. The new MIPS Air Node technology offers optimum protection against rotational movement, while the clip-in rear light ensures safety and visibility in low light conditions. The separately available Aero Plugs ensure optimized aerodynamics and offer protection in cold weather, while the magnetic buckle ensures a secure and easy closure.

MIPS® Brain Protection System

MIPS® mimics the brain's natural protection system. The brain is cushioned by a low-friction fluid, the cerebrospinal fluid, which allows the brain to slide inside the skull under impact. The MIPS® Brain Protection System is a unique technology that protects the brain from angled impacts by mimicking the natural friction-reducing barrier and thus reducing the impact transmitted to the brain. Under angled impacts, the helmet glides on the low-friction MIPS® layer and minimizes the rotational forces acting on the brain.

Aero Optimized
SCOTT engineers worked with the ORICA-GreenEDGE team to define a clear goal when designing the helmet. The team wanted a helmet with the lowest drag coefficient, a dynamic ventilation system and, of course, an adjustable, comfortable fit.

PC In-Mold Construction
During the manufacturing process, the outer polycarbonate shell is bonded to the shock-absorbing EPS inner shell of the helmet, resulting in a lighter and less bulky helmet with increased comfort.
