In collaboration with engineers, experts and professional athletes, extensive tests were carried out under real conditions and in the wind tunnel and the results analyzed to determine the ideal shape and profile height in order to develop the best possible aerodynamic design. The resulting wheelset offers more than just speed. It is also characterized by its stiffness, handling, weight savings and, above all, its insensitivity to crosswinds - for an unprecedentedly smooth ride.
The FERNWEG EVO PRO wheelset doesn't just look fast. The highly profiled rim effectively dissipates headwinds, reduces air resistance and thus ensures more speed - particularly effective in fast training, races and group rides where the average speed is well above the important 40 km/h limit. But the new design of the FERNWEG is particularly good in crosswinds.
