The award-winning RIOT 9 from 2014/15 was designed by the developers to take you everywhere. Features like the then novel Disconnect Brake Mount, the internal cable routing and the patent-pending Riot-Link have enabled optimal control in high-speed passages as well as on winding trails. Now the developers at Ghost have continued to tinker, develop and test, the result is a completely revised RIOT.

Let's take a closer look at the new RIOT. Let's start with TractionLink, the suspension system. It ensures that your bike never loses traction, no matter how rough the terrain gets. The kinematics of the RIOT are characterized by a particularly well-balanced ratio between drive neutrality and rear end performance. The suspension travel is optimally used, shocks are absorbed with confidence and losing traction when braking is a thing of the past. Thanks to SuperFit geometry, the RIOT also impresses with a perfect fit - you ride more controlled, can sit longer in the saddle and efficiently transfer your power to the pedals.

SUPERFIT GEOMETRY

GHOST heralds a new era in bike development and says goodbye to traditional construction methods. From now on, the bikes will be based on a specially developed algorithm for the holistic calculation of the so-called "from-rider-to-bike geometries". This algorithm is called SuperFit. Following the SuperFit concept, size S comes with 27.5" wheels, while sizes M-XL are equipped with 29" wheels.

ONE-PIECE REAR TRIANGLE

SIMPLE, SLEEK AND STIFF. A one-piece rear triangle design offers high stiffness because the rear triangle consists of solid joints. The one-piece shock rocker gives an extra plus on top: more stiffness leads to less transverse stress on the bolts and the entire rear end.

DESIGN MEETS FUNCTION.

Cable routing needs a tight fit and wants to be hidden. They are perfectly tucked away under the cable cover on the down tube. With the help of the Snap-Lock closure on the cover, the cables can be uncovered without tools and in no time at all for a quick service.
