Slash through the mud in the MUDTALON™ ZERO, Inov-8's soft ground zero-drop speedster designed for racing and faster runs. Equipped with a STICKYGRIP™ rubber outsole, the MUDTALON™ ZERO's 8mm lugs eat through even the softest mud to propel you forward at speed. What's more, the STICKYGRIP™ outsole has been reformulated to give you better grip on wet, slippery rock. This makes the shoe perfect for muddy mountain, obstacle and cross-country races where a firm grip on treacherous terrain is crucial.

There are also protective features. Inov-8's flexible META-PLATE rock plate protects against painful impacts from sharp rocks or tree roots underfoot. In addition, a toe protection overlay protects against painful impacts. The MUDTALON™ ZERO is built for speed. With a super light weight of just 255g per shoe (average across all sizes and fits), you'll feel light and free as you fly across the ground.
Cushioning is provided by a combination of a BOOMERANG FOOTBED and a lightweight FLYSPEED™ Pro foam midsole. These provide just the right amount of comfort without compromising ground feel, which is essential when running at a fast pace over technical terrain. As a zero-drop shoe, the MUDTALON™ ZERO works with the natural movement of the foot to keep you in the flow. With its anatomical fit, the shoe gives your heel and midfoot a secure, locked-in feel, but widens at the front to allow your toes to splay naturally as you touch down and push off. Our MUDTALON range is available in two fits: Precision or Wide.
Choose Precision if you have narrow feet or prefer a narrower fit when running. Choose Wide if you have wider feet or run longer distances.
