The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers the ultimate in sun protection and water resistance for unpredictable weather in the mountains. In addition to UPF 50+ fabric, we've also added GTT's revolutionary Empel™ technology, an eco-friendly, PFC-free, water-repellent finish that outperforms any other C-6, C-8 or C-0 DWR solution.
The Alpenglow Pro is also equipped with a ¼ zipper to regulate body temperature, HeiQ Pure mesh panels under the arms for added breathability, a concealed chest pocket, thumb loops and a hood for wearing under a helmet, making this hoodie an essential layer of clothing from the desert to the Alps.
