Details of the SCOTT Spark RC Pro

Patented integrated suspension system

One key requirement for a suspension system is direct power transfer. Inefficient movements, especially lateral loads transverse to the direction of damping, impair the efficiency of the system. Integrating the shock absorber into the frame reduces these effects. The design around the shock absorber and the use of a trunnion mount increase stiffness and minimize unwanted movements.

The integrated design also allows the shock absorber to be positioned lower in the frame. This lowers the center of gravity, improves handling, and increases riding stability. At the same time, the shock absorber remains completely protected from external influences, so that performance is maintained even under adverse conditions. The shock absorber can be accessed quickly and easily via a service flap in the bottom bracket area. This makes it particularly easy to adjust the rebound, compression, and shock pressure.

Adjustable head angle

The Spark allows the head angle to be adjusted by 0.6° - either flatter or steeper. This adjustment does not require shortening cables or bleeding the brakes. To make the change, simply remove the handlebars, rotate the headset 180°, and then reinstall the handlebars.

Syncros Fraser iC Combo

The Spark is equipped with the redesigned Fraser iC Combo from Syncros. Among other things, this was developed to elegantly solve the complex integration of cables. The cockpit is designed so that the cables run under the handlebars and along the sides of the stem before being routed invisibly through the headset via integrated plastic parts. The result is a tidy, minimalist appearance while avoiding kinks or bends in the cables.

Tool in the rear wheel axle

The tried-and-tested tool on the rear wheel axle has been further improved and has been an integral part of the equipment for years. It combines several functions in a compact all-in-one tool with T25, T30, and 6mm Allen key. With these three tool sizes, the axles and almost all relevant screw connections on the bike can be adjusted or tightened quickly and easily – practical for on the road and in everyday life.
