Description of Shimano Alivio FC-M4050 Crank Set 3x9-speed 40-30-22

The Alivio FC-M4050 MTB crank set for integrated bottom brackets offers a chainguard and Hyperdrive SG-X chainrings. The two piece crank arm is made of aluminum, while the replaceable chainrings are made of steel. Thanks to the anti-rust process a long-lasting satisfaction is guaranteed. The FC-M4050 offers the MEGA-9 LITE drive. (Wide-range 9-speed sprocket cluster with close-ratio gearing.)

Poor
Pro: Looks nice, Hollowtech2 (use BB-70), works nice.
Cons: VERY VERY weak chainrings !!
After only 800km the middle ring has obvious signs of wear, and even the big ring which was barely used !
And they were cleaned and not forced, I spin.

The chainrings are made of "steel", but I think aluminum is stronger than this "steel".
