For the ROADFLY, Inov-8 have taken a trail running shoe and stripped away the technology you don't need, leaving what you do need. The result is a lightweight road running shoe that benefits from some of the unique features developed for the trails.

Rubber Grip - BOOMERANG footbed
Paved and road surfaces are often uneven and rough. The MET-CRADLE provides a firm grip by forming a supportive cradle between the arch of the foot and the top of the foot. This gives you a more stable feeling when running over uneven ground. At the same time, the Meta-Flex groove in the shoe adapts, reacts and adjusts to uneven terrain. This groove makes the ROADFLY less stiff and works with the metatarsal joint of your foot to increase flexibility and mobility.
The ROADFLY is a highly responsive yet cushioned road shoe that benefits from the combination of BOOMERANG FOOTBED and POWERFLOW PRO midsole foam. These two components provide excellent cushioning and bounce when running on the toughest surfaces. The grippy rubber outsole provides traction on slippery roads and allows you to have a secure footing even in wet conditions.
The upper of the ROADFLY is made from a single piece of technical mesh for comfort and breathability, while a narrow, gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out of the shoe. In addition, reflective details on the front of the shoe ensure you are more visible to other road users on early morning or night runs.
