Find out How to Rock the Roads and Trails Even in Bad Weather!

Cycling in the Rain – The Most Important Gear
Wet clothes, clammy fingers – cycling in the rain can quickly put you in a bad mood. That doesn't have to be the case. With our checklist, you'll be on the dry side when it comes to bike rain protection for you and your bike.

The Classic
Cycling Rain Jackets
Rain jackets are the core of your cycling rain gear. Look for waterproof and breathable material to keep you dry and comfortable. An extended back protects you from splashing water. Also important: the weight, pack size and reflective elements for better visibility.

Weather Protection for Your Legs
Cycling Rain Pants
High-quality rain pants offer the best possible protection if they are lightweight, waterproof and breathable. Adjustable leg cuffs and integrated seat pads provide additional comfort. In principle, there are rain over-pants and classic cycling rain pants. We recommend the former for commuting. The latter are perfect for sporting activities.
A special variant is the MTB overall, also known as onesie or jumpsuit. It protects you from dirt, mud and water and adds a great deal of cycling style.

No More Clammy Fingers
Cycling Rain Gloves
The wind chill effect is one thing when cycling, but wet fingers are in a completely different league. Good water-repellent cycling gloves are therefore a must if you bike in the rain for long periods. They typically combine a coated outer material with a membrane and a warm inner lining.. Many models also have silicone palms to increase the grip on the handlebars in wet conditions.
Keeping Your Head Dry
Helmet Caps and Co.
There are several ways to protect your head from the wet: You can wear a helmet cap under your helmet. It is a typical winter accessory as it also keeps your head warm. Rain protection for your head also includes goggles and glasses. Here, too, you will find a huge selection of models.
Against Splashing Wetness
Mudguards and Fenders
If you often ride in wet conditions, mudguards are essential to protect you from splashing water and mud. They are available in different sizes and designs to suit almost every bike. Special fenders or mudguards for road bikes or MTBs are also available. Simple installation and high effectiveness make them a must-have.
To Keep Your Equipment Dry
Covers and Co.
To keep your luggage dry, we recommend using waterproof covers and bags. Backpack covers, waterproof saddlebags or special rain covers for bike panniers – for example when bikepacking – are a good choice. They offer protection and increase your safety when riding thanks to reflective elements. Helmet covers are the classic rain solution for the summer and transitional seasons. They keep your helmet and, to a certain extent, your head dry.
