Kool-Stop was founded in 1977 in Oregon, USA. After the first bicycle brake pad with brake shoe was developed for Canti-Lever rim brakes, the small company started to build a name for itself. Kool-Stop has conquered a niche in the market for high quality road bike, MTB, BMX and eBike brake pads. KS also produces pads for V-brakes, BMX U-brakes and of course disc brakes.
