For 2026, RockShox has given the Reba suspension fork a major update, bringing over technology from the RockShox SID. The Reba Gold pairs the Isolator RL damper with the DebonAir air spring and a chassis with 35 mm stanchions. It feels just as at home on a marathon course as it does on your local trails. On climbs, close the compression damping to reduce pedal-induced movement and put your power down efficiently. Open it again at the top, and the fork delivers controlled performance through rough, technical sections. This makes it a logical upgrade for your hardtail or a great way to add more control to your full-suspension XC bike. Choose from 29-inch suspension forks with 100 to 130 mm travel and a 27.5-inch fork with 130 mm travel. All Reba Gold suspension forks are approved for e-bikes.

RockShox Reba forks at a glance
All Reba Gold suspension forks use the same chassis and air spring. The 29-inch forks are available with 100 to 130 mm travel, while the 27.5-inch forks come with 130 mm. Your choice comes down to travel and how you want to control the compression damping. If you set your fork before hitting the trail, choose the adjuster on the fork crown. If you want to switch settings at race pace, go for a fork with a remote.
RockShox Reba Gold Isolator RL 3P Crown
The Crown fork puts the adjuster on the fork crown with three settings: Open, Pedal and Lock. That leaves more handlebar space for your dropper post remote and bike computer. Axle-to-crown length increases with travel: 514 mm at 100 mm and 534 mm at 120 mm. A great choice if you do not want another cable at the cockpit.

RockShox Reba Gold Isolator RL 3P Remote
This fork puts all three settings at your fingertips. A 3P-compatible TwistLoc remote on the handlebar lets you switch damping modes while seated without taking your hand off the grip. That pays off on marathon courses where conditions are constantly changing. The remote is sold separately. The damping itself is identical to the Crown fork.

RockShox Reba Gold Isolator RL 2P Remote
The 2P fork keeps things simple with Open and Lock. Two settings, one quick adjustment: Open off-road and Lock on asphalt. If you rarely use the intermediate Pedal setting, this gives you a simpler setup. Choose a TwistLoc or OneLoc remote separately to switch between the two settings from the handlebar.

- 2P damper: Open for sensitive response and traction, Lock for a significantly firmer front end when sprinting and climbing.
RockShox Reba technologies
The Reba Gold combines three key elements from RockShox XC development: the Isolator RL damper, DebonAir air spring and 35 mm chassis.
Isolator RL damper
The Isolator RL is the XC damper used in the Reba Gold. Inside, a spring-backed internal floating piston separates the oil and air to prevent them from mixing. This keeps damping performance consistent throughout the fork's travel. The 3P suspension forks offer Open, Pedal and Lock compression settings. With the 2P forks, you can choose between Open and Lock.
DebonAir air spring
The RockShox DebonAir air spring uses positive and negative air chambers with a setup based on the SID. As the fork compresses, the negative chamber counteracts the resistance created by air pressure. This gives the fork a sensitive response even over small bumps. Through the middle of the travel, the spring provides support to keep the front end from diving in corners.
35 mm chassis
The SID-derived chassis uses 35 mm stanchions. Their larger diameter reduces flex under braking, helping the front wheel hold your line. The fork also features a tapered steerer from 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 inches and a 15x110 mm Boost thru axle. Offset is 44 mm, with clearance for tires up to 81 mm wide.

Frequently asked questions about the RockShox Reba
Which brake rotors are compatible with the RockShox Reba Gold?
The fork has a Post Mount for a 180 mm rotor and supports rotors up to 200 mm in diameter. RockShox does not approve rotors smaller than 180 mm. If you currently run a 160 mm rotor, you will need to size up. You can find the appropriate adapter for a 200 mm rotor in our range.
What comes with the RockShox Reba Gold?
The fork comes with a bolt-on fender, star nut and Maxle thru axle. For Remote forks, we also recommend ordering a compatible handlebar remote separately.
Is the RockShox Reba Gold approved for e-bikes?
Yes. All Reba Gold suspension forks are approved for e-bikes. The maximum permitted system weight is 150 kg, including the bike, luggage and rider. This makes the fork suitable for lightweight e-hardtails as well as XC bikes without a motor. Before buying, check which fork travel your frame manufacturer approves.
