Petzl Volta Guide 9.0mm Rope - 60m - orange

The VOLTA GUIDE 9 mm rope is extremely light and compact for ultimate rock climbing performance and supple and water-repellent for use in mountaineering. The Guide UIAA Dry impregnation protects the rope from moisture, making it suitable for daily use in extreme conditions. The rope has an excellent grip and is easy to handle. It is available in several lengths depending on the intended use: from 30 meters for classic mountaineering to 100 meters for climbing on long rock routes.

Compact and ultra-lightweight for ultimate climbing performance:

• ClimbReady technology: special winding for ready-to-use ropes. It prevents errors when unwinding by the user and increases the service life.

Extremely moisture-resistant and therefore ideal for technical mountaineering and ice climbing:

• Guide UIAA Dry impregnation: the water-repellent complete impregnation ensures that the rope stays dry day after day in all conditions. It meets the requirements of the UIAA Water Repellent Test standard (water absorption of less than 2%).
• Increased durability thanks to Guide UIAA Dry impregnation.
• UltraSonic Finish: core and shell are firmly bonded together at the ends using ultrasonic coating. This improves durability and prevents bursting at the end of the rope.

User-friendly:

• supple rope, makes it easier to pick up, handle the rope loops and dispense the rope in the belay devices,
• 40-plait hollow braiding for good grip and better control,
• EverFlex finish: special thermal finish, stabilizes the threads and makes the rope more uniform. The rope is extremely grippy and ensures good handling over the long term.
